Sidebar

• Layout picker: Grids, heroes, full-bleed, text layouts — save up to 5 custom slots at the bottom of the picker
• Cell / Hero aspect: Portrait (2:3), landscape (3:2), square, or fill
• Grid align: Left, right, center, or fill within the content area
• Mirror: Flip the hero / grid side by side arrangement
• Text scale & align: Per-page body text size and paragraph justification
• Show Name / Subtitle: Toggle character name and role line per page
• Label position / align: Where cell label bars appear (inside top or bottom of cell)
• Stamp: Load a PNG logo (150–250 px tall ideal). Allow tint colours it to match the accent; uncheck to keep original colours
• Batch Import: Load a whole folder of images at once; auto-label from filenames or number sequences
• Export: PDF (all pages, print-ready 300 DPI), PNG or JPG — set Export scope to “Current page only” for a single sheet
• Save / Load: JSON project file with all images embedded
• Save as Default: Remembers your preferred template, orientation and custom layouts for new projects

Cell Buttons (hover a cell to reveal)

• ¶ Convert to text cell — double-click the cell to open the text editor
• ▣ Back to image cell (shown on converted text cells)
• T Label — overlay caption bar on cell image (position set in Page Options)
• − Hide cell — removes from layout; restore in Page Options › Hidden Cells
• ⤢ Snap to native — resizes cell height to match the image’s true proportions
• ↺ Reset crop — clears pan & zoom back to default
• X Remove image from cell
• ▲▼ Layer order — bring forward / send backward when cells overlap

Canvas Interactions

• Add image: Drag & drop a file onto a cell, or double-click to browse
• Swap images: Left-drag from one cell onto another
• Pan crop: Middle Mouse + drag within a cell
• Zoom crop: Scroll Wheel over a cell (1× – 5×)
• Move cell: Drag the ✩ handle to reposition freely — or select a cell and use ←↑↓→ arrow keys (Shift+arrow for fine nudge)
• Resize cell: Drag a corner handle; Shift toggles aspect lock
• Multi-select: Left-drag on empty canvas area (marquee), then drag any selected cell
• Caption: Right-click a cell — sets a caption band below the image, or removes the image
• Overlapping cells: Cells are fully opaque; use ▲▼ buttons to control which is on top
• Move stamp: Drag ✩ on the stamp. X removes it
• Undo / Redo: Ctrl+Z / Ctrl+Y — up to 20 steps; buttons always in sidebar
• Hotkeys: T over a grid cell converts it to text; T over empty canvas spawns a new free text cell  |  I opens image picker on a cell, or spawns a new free image cell over empty canvas  |  ←↑↓→ nudges selected cell(s); Shift+arrow for 0.1% fine steps
• Reset positions: “Reset Layout” in Page Options clears all moves & resizes
